they are supposed to be downloadable through iTunes. with a cracked phone, you won't be wanting to let it connect through iTunes unless you want it bricked.

you have to remember that cell phones are like really thick herb pipes, you can only drop off of yr lap getting out of the car so many times before the become shattered and useless.
