It's probably easier to qualify the question of this thread by commenting on people I've met in the real world who first existed in my computer - Mr & Bowels is a great deal more dry than the internet lets on, and comes across as very gregarious. The problem with this question, one supposes, is that once there's a real-world person behind the posts, the posts just perpetuate what you know of a person. Unless there are those who are more duplicitous in their posting than the people I've met from this forum.

Actually, I've met people from other forums who've said I come across as much less of a cunt in person. Again, tone of voice etc.
