I think that when people try to contextualize themselves too much they end up losing a big chunk of their potential, or they gain a little due to their lack of it.

They also risk becoming mega bores who feel like they have to account every experience that they go through to a communal way of thinking/doing things which ultimately amounts to no more than a simple variation of customs and day-to-day habits, more or less.
