absolutley. ill admit it took me a long time to look past the racism, misogyny, homophobia, and all together the violent personalities that are prevalent in that whole scene, but then i realized hip hop has some of these same associations and decided to take them with a grain of salt and checked out a lot of the bands. I then realized that black metal is responsible for some of the most creative, sonically appealing, and funny agressive music ever. I actually owe it to my brother, hes big into black metal and he first got me into it by lending me darkthrone's "transylvanian Hunger", that ablum kinda opened my mind up to the music and is still my favorite Black Metal record.
