Novels (Le roman). We had a corpus including an extract from "Une vie" (Guy de Maupassant), another one from "Le père Goriot" (Balzac) and then something off "Madame Bovary" (Flaubert). The questions were: "what scenes do those text present", and "what descriptive elements are used to make those sound real". Then we had three writing works, of which I chose the invention subject where you had to write a newspaper article dealing with why people still read novels that where written in the past centuries.
