It's like my thing about speed - no fucker takes solvents for long enough to die, or have adverse affects. I've taken solvents - I've taken a lot of things... but solvents were about 20 seconds of ok-ness and a day of headaches. Rubbish drug. Poppers are a laugh, but you need to be very wrong to take enough for it to have adverse affects.
I can't remember what the criteria were for that study, but I remember it's an interesting read.
