Carter Tutti + Matmos

The Beaconsfield

In association with lumin
live music performance-art electronica film eclectic dj’s
7, 8, 9 June 2008
Admission: £15 (£12 concessions)
Special price for all three nights: £35 (£30 concessions)

A once in a lifetime experience for connoisseurs of the avant garde. Three incredible performances from the highly influential US-based electronic duo, Matmos who have chosen Beaconsfield’s Mother of all Parties for the only London dates in their 2008 European tour.
A unique chance to see three entirely different manifestations of the Matmos range: The Soft Pink Truth on Saturday night, an experimental improvised Matmos set on the Sunday and, on the final Monday night, a full-blown live Matmos set with highlights from their new album Supreme Balloon.
Plus a whole host of special guests will accompany them - from the rockabilly-synth of Dave Ball’s (Soft Cell) Nitewreckers, to the experimental sounds of Kaffe Matthews and CarterTutti’s (Throbbing Gristle) first gig in the UK this year!
Following the huge success and brilliant word of mouth for previous Mother of all Parties, June’s three day marathon puts this firmly on the map of the most unmissable gigs of 2008. The series is gathering steam, like its predecessor Nosepaint. Don’t miss out!
Saturday 7 June, 8pm-1am: THE SOFT PINK TRUTH

Drew Daniel’s solo upbeat dance project
plus Nitewreckers, People Like Us, Le Couteau Jaune, DJ Tendraw, Howard Jacques in residence plus surprise guests and Mark Dean’s film Jane/Fonda.

Sunday 8 June 7.30pm-11pm: MATMOS

Classic Matmos improv set with Jay Lesser
plus Kaffe Matthews, Stephen Gosh, Stephen Thrower, Mark Dean, Howard Jacques in residence plus surprise guests

Monday 9 June 7.30pm-12 midnight: MATMOS and CARTERTUTTI

Live set with Jay Lesser and highlights from the new album Supreme Balloon
plus CarterTutti, Howard Jacques in residence and more surprise guests.

MoaP is a benefit for Beaconsfield that happens intermittently - progressive and quirky, it celebrates the avant-garde and the everyday.

Got my tickets for Carter Tutti already.
