They really should pull out all the stops, and reissue this as a full-length with a few other numbers from the Irvine concert as bonus tracks. The cover on this was really cool (Kim at her sexiest, and Thurston looks great with the long hair); they could keep it as is, merely changing the title in the black stripe to something like Dirty Boots Live. Even if they were to ditch the edited studio version of the title track, the title would still work, because there's a live version of that number included. (It would work a damn site better than The Destroyed Room does as a compilation title, given the absense of its namesake!)

technically we have a live version of the entire DDN album so I'd say that IS a proper, official live album.
