Why do people think tanning is a good thing? I was at this pool party Sunday. Mom's a nurse, and her daughters are brown as nuts from their sun worshipping. Doesn't mom tell them this glow is pre-pre-cancerous? Plus it just isn't attractive, is it? Leathery skin? I mean, if it's your natural skin color, that's fine and beautiful. But caucasians going all dark brown--your skin turns to leather, and it just looks weird to me.
Plus these young ladies smoked cigarettes like crazy. Mom!
