An unrelated question about Burger King's pricing structure.

how, when a single cheeseburger costs £1.29, can they charge £2.79 for a double cheesburger? I asked this question of the person serving me the other day and they had no idea. We'd managed to establish that the only difference between the single and the double is the extra burger and slice and cheese, so effectively I'd be paying more for less. Needless to say I simply bought two single cheeseburgers. Small victories such as these really are what life's all about sometimes.
