No. Most certainly not. My comments might have been infused with some other collector boards that I view. Luv and respect to collectors and discographers...

Since we are all collectors and music junkies and the like I suppose I'll voice my opinion.

I have always felt that bands should re-issue material based on relevancy or artistic congruency. Not as some archealogist attempt to unearth, align or whatever. Sometimes, re-issues, compliations and that lose the plot.

I also find it silly when collectors scream to release some song or demo whose only merit is that of being rare and obscure. To many times I have forked over $40 for some remix that sucks...

Furthermore, it seems when a song or cd warrants 'collectiabilty', the band re-issue it and becomes equally ready for the bottom of the bargain bin.
