I've been annoyed by this a lot lately because of REM's thrashy/blippy intro to I'm Gonna DJ. I find myself driving or whatever and just replaying the first 6 seconds. Fucking annoying. I thought of sampling and looping it to do something of my own over it but I'm not at all knowledgeable of editing.
Others that come to mind: Sebadoh's Emma Get Wild needs its own thing, also Beauty of the Ride ruined by Barlow's Foo Fighters-like crooning.
