metallica broke up after the black album, then some trendy industry people took their places and started to call themselves metallica.
i doubt i'll be listening to the new album, i will listen to the singles, eventually. but yeah, can't wait to hear robert trujillo play slap and pop funky bass with james saying "ye-heah!" every two seconds.
rick rubin is a shit awful producer and a retard, the reason why he is such an "amazing" producer is because he lets the bands do whatever they want, tells them to keep it simple and lets them record for as long as they like.
