Maybe those fearing the involvment being too much might put their names here and say they're looking for a co-manager who would be willing to take over if they ever drop the game? In real life, managers are sacked regularly. There's a wild card that allows to start with a whole different team once in the season. That could be used if a Man U. fan picks a City team.
This could work if some posters offer to be bench managers.
No idea if it could really work though.
