I used to always answer the phones formally and politely, even though God help me sometimes I wanted to say, "Yeah, what do you want, then?". Thankfully I no longer have to man the phones, so the masses don't get to hear my dulcet Sarf London tones.
So, you any good at spreadsheets then?...
