My Dad had me come in to his antique shop to fix his laptop today and I've found some priceless gems written by my little brother (he does his schoolwork on this computer apparently)
here's one of them, simply entitled Love Poem
I yearn to follow the path of your love
For I am not worthy of such greatness
I mean it when I say you are my dove
I shall not cross your path for I am less
My day is not complete until the night
For that is when I see your lovely face
I know thhis will end in an awful fight
I mean it when I say tie me in lace
But I know you yearn for my presence
I know that if I left your sight you'd cry
You cross the street to feed the darling pheasants
If I was far, through the air you would fly
It is not only my riches you want
It is not my Olympian physique
But its a certain chemistry that daunts
It is so strong it will never go weak
I like how he says "my olympian physique" (he's super into bodybuilding and reads men's fitness and lives off protein powder and shit- yes this is my same little brother who used to be a little stoner.)
