Yeah, I shouldn't have made such a blanket statement because there's many (mostly newer) things that are put under the "shoegaze" banner and are horrible. You can't go wrong with
good shoegaze. lovesliescrushing does fit perfectly although I wouldn't call Astrobrite dreamy, at least not the recent stuff.
