And how does this relate to corn?

There's one scene where the guy on the left is assisting the guy on the right in his apartment kitchen & props up a whole ear of raw corn above the electric stove's burner.
The guy goes, "I don't think that's how you make corn," alluding, one supposes, to the accepted way of boiling it in water in a large pot.
It then cuts to them enjoying the blackened corn on the cob.[/quo
I've heard of the movie before but i have never watched it.I'll make sure i do though.Thanks atari 2600.
