These are currently in my closet, collected over the past 12 years or so.
The Lowas, by the way, are a great tough shoe. I wore them for several winters in Iowa, mowed the yard with them on many times here in South Carolina, recently washed and refurbished them, and they still hold up. There's hardly any wear in the hard rubber sole. I think you could wear these in the jungles of Madagascar and they'd keep you in good stead. They're also very comfortable.
