To be honest, I thought Control was pretty average - kind of a join-the-dots skim over the story. It's nicely shot and has a couple of good performances (loved the Rob Gretton), but wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it to anyone other than JD neophytes.

Then again, I really liked 24HPP, even though you've got to take it with a massive pinch of salt. But at least it's upfront about that - much better than Control getting bogged down in it's own gravitas.
