Ha, most people I know seem to think as you do that Black Dice are getting worse and worse with every release, but I actually feel exactly the opposite: I think Load Blown is by far their best yet. I don't mean that Beaches & Canyons or Creature Conforts suck - I love them as well, but I feel like there were always boring moments on their first releases. On Load Blown, everything manages to be catchy, every second gets my total attention. It's not about the "sonic landscapes" anymore (but Eric Copeland's album was there for that, and it was great), but seriously I think it's better than anything they've done before.
