When I had cable I watched Mad Men from the beginning and it's good, but it's not like it's as great as it's made out to be. For all of its quasi-innovative coolness factor, in the end it's sort of a good period-version of a soap opera.

Remember when Michael was telling a coming down Ryan what to do about his friend (the little guy) that was abusing drugs? The Office is hysterical.

I'm kind of tired of Mad Men. Don Draper is such a fucking dickhead. I don't really care about his character anymore. It's interesting to see life in another time, but meh.

I'm excited for Breaking Bad season 2 though. I think the characters are much more likable despite the bad things they do.
