So, going back to my original point.
I wouldn't post on an animal collective forum. Because all the posters probably share the same ridiculous thoughts that you do. "Oh, it's STUPID!" How can music be stupid? Because it's not safe music for safe people or simple music for simple people and it isn't easy to put in a box? I think that makes it smart -- at least smarter than the people who write it off cuz, "duh it's backwords so fkkin stoopidlol"
It contains all the best elements of an Animal Collective record. It's just, uh, backwards. Which doesn't really make me love the album any more but it works.
Anyway, Person Pitch is boring bullshit with some good melodies. It's "epic" only because it's really fucking long and boring. I'd take any Animal Collective-related project over Person Pitch, easily.
