His voice works for the music perfectly... I'm not a huge Xiu Xiu fan and I think their albums all have some stinkers, but I gotta love how they mix musique concrete/modern classical/ambient/noise/electronica/pop/rock/etc into this really, really atmospheric, creepy, ridiculous and oftentimes beautiful cacaphony. The schtick is starting to wear a little thin, and I think that's why they keep adding new members... but I still find Xiu Xiu to be somewhat of a brilliant band, even in their shitty moments.
