I start uncontrollably shaking, get cottonmouth, can't focus on what anybody is even saying to me sometimes. I know this is my mind creating delusions, but it takes a huge toll and people are thinking I'm really fucking odd because of it, especially her.

Now I'm seeing a psychiatrist starting next week. I've been feeling depressed excessively. Has anyone else had anything similar?

employ caution and abandon paranoia.

you did say though that 'every time I go away'

have you thought that maybe she got the new friend because every time you went away she got lonely, and this new friend is solving that problem for her?

is part of yr paranoia, guilt at the fact that this dude is around for her when you are not?

just askin.. since I know I get pretty bored and lonely when my partner goes on long trips, so I can see it from that perspective.

Its possible that there is more going on, and its also possible that he's just a friend. Talking about it + hoping for honesty are the only things that will really leave you feeling any better.
