Y'know the old "can't judge a book (record) by its cover" cliche' ?
I, personally, have bought many albums based on covers in the past. Thrift store finds are generally chosen because of covers. Half-naked girl on an island? Must be exotica. Yoink!
But ever NOT buy an album because of its cover? For instance, I never got YOU IN REVERSE because it didn't LOOK like a Built To Spill album cover to me. Even though it got really good reviews, the cover kept me away. Ever have a similar experience?
