I'll keep this in mind in case of any future openings, the one I applied for drastically lowered their compensation to $35/website (what???). Generally speaking most of these jobs pay very well though and it's good to know it's a professional atmosphere.

What absolute fucking cheap-skates! There are definitely going to be some sketchy fuckers in the porn industry, but then web design in general is a magnet for those types, isn't it? I'd say, look for a company that offers compensation that sounds reasonable in real world terms. My friend in Seattle's job has a 401K plan.
