Lots of the British hate America. Lots of Europe do. It's not just so-called third world countries, it's pretty much everyone (although perhaps not my government). That's not to say that Britain isn't part-and-parcel of the same vulgarity (and we're getting worse), just in case anyone wants to get on their high horse with me.
