Drawing solely from my experience of a similar situation, I'd suggest doing nothing, become a seething ball of resentment and bide your time until he has some kind of colossal breakdown, destroys most of his possessions and phones his mother at 3am to drive halfway across the country to come pick him up and never be seen of or heard from again. YMMV.
