Yeah, I agree, that would be fantastic. Of course a lot of that production was owed to Jim O' Rourke, but I still hope they do that much careful layering on the new record.

The songs are good first sign. They sound like good new Sonic Youth songs and they rock a bit more than a lot of Rather Ripped.
