Naked Lunch is whatever you make of it. I find it amazing.. really interesting, thought-provoking, well-written, and most of all -- fucking hilarious! It's not easy reading, but I've read some stuff that's a loooooot more difficult to read (look up BLOOD ELECTRIC...).
My personal favorite Burroughs is THE TICKET THAT EXPLODED.
