I can't remember any specific examples but at high-school I knew loads of people who would take the moral high-ground on something then conradict themselves by doing essentially the same thing, or who criticised others for things which they did (say what you like about Freud but he was right about defense-mechanisms, projection and reaction-formation and all that).
