Is anyone else glad to see this finally get the go ahead it needed? I mean, I never understood the hold up.
I can see where people have a moral dilemma with abortion; I actually have one myself. Even if you are for it, you have to at least admit that you can see how somebody would consider it murder.
But stem cells? Why was this a problem with people? I don't mean for this to come off as harsh as it may sound, but they are already dead. I would imagine that the strong religious types would have no problem, because if they believe that a soul has actually left the body and gone on to where ever they believe it is going, of what use is the body? If it were simply a shell, as many of them must believe, then why not use it for good after it has died? Nobody is talking about murder here; it is - and sorry once again if this comes off as cold and emotionless, though I am only speaking as a matter of fact - simply efficient, and it would do a lot of good for a lot of people.
