You live outside of the US, where life is gloomy and you're poor and oppressed by a corrupt and tyrannical government, so you leave for the US and you become free, wealthy and even more.
Does it apply to every Americas ( north, south, Canada, Mexico, Colombia...)?
The use of 'America' as 'USA' bothers me.
