I know people think Goo is a little polished, so maybe something in between would have been neat... then again, I think the album proper does sound pretty great, particularly the deluxe vinyl reissue. The sea of guitar overdubs actually compliment the songs, and that slight gloss over everything really isn't so bad...

Then we have the live versions! Goo tour shows are some of my favorites!

I thought a live disc would've made a better companion to GOO Deluxe, because the Demos were already a released album. Made the deluxe reissue a bit of a copout to me. I agree about the ragedness, and mostly was just exagerating up there to imply that "Lee #2" is one of the best Goo songs and for some reason got cut. The truth is, I dont think GOO is overly polished. Just a bit polished. I dont like the fade in on "Dirty Boots" for instance. But really the record has grown on me over years. "Mildred Pierce" and "Mote" cannot be part of a 'bad' record. haha.
