Agreed. But I will not agree that the beach boys were a shitty band. Take out Mike Love who contributed nothing musically, and they were actually a solid 50s rock n roll band. Stupid lyrics in the early days, but try to sing their parts and play instruments at the same time and you'd be simplifying it too, brotha.

If you count their voices as instruments which you should, they are up there with any great band in my opinion, including zepplin.
