Absolutely. And 90% of people who download music also buy music. In fact studies have actually shown that the people who us peer to peer sites actually buy more music than the people whining about how downloading music is stealing!

In fact, there's a precedent, since people who listen to the radio (which the industry tried to shut down for "giving away music" in it's day too!) also buy more music.
