i'm for empty beaches & getting some nooky among the palm trees

crowds like that beach make me wanna vomit. tourists are disgusting.

curiously though i love big cities, but i like the emptiness and anonimity of a city crowd. soy weird.

i've been to bondi... it wasn't peak season... but it was nowhere near that crowded. take a picture of any beach with adequate parking on a weekend, and thats what it looks like. I'd know as I grew up on a beach and sold parking spaces on the weekend. my city has nowhere near the population of sydney, but as the only major island/beach of the state, it looks as busy or more than that during the summer.

i love big cities too... which is why Sydney is a real good blend. I really liked it there, of course I've never been to Melbourne.

in the US, if you want a big city with beach access and culture... its what? LA or Miami? SD? SF maybe?

Tampa... though I don't know how "cultured" it is in tampa/st. pete...

its pretty much either an Australian city or somewhere on the Mediterranean . I don't know if I would like LA... Miami is probably a 'no' from me.
