People do the trolling because they're petty, immature, and unwilling to get over the past.
Regardless if I ignore it or not, they will continue to post under "khchris". That's something I can't stop and can only be stopped by the person themselves.
If they've kept it up for about 3-4 years, what makes you think they're just going to "let it go"? I didn't even respond to the troll, yet he's been posting anyways.
Sorry, no can do. If I suffer, everyone else is going to either have to:
a. ignore the troll and fight against it, do not condone troll behavior.
b. deal with the posts warning of the troll.
If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem.

khchris, I think for the most part, people are generally more irritated with the troll than with your thread. At least I am. I don't see the problem with starting a thread to clarify identity.
I for one have not seen him posting anywhere else on the board under that name.
However, if you're going to set forth behavioral guidelines that you believe will help combat trolls, in my humble opinion, it would behoove you to refrain from carelessly tossing around troll accusations yourself.
It is not my intention to deviate from the focus of the thread, but to assert that I've created an account for the purpose of trolling is ludicrous, presumptuous, and just plain stupid. You are in a manner perpetuating the very offense you're condemning, and I'd ask you not to do it again.
