What the fuck is even the point, then? Might as well download the album or something. I mean honestly, it's 4 in the morning and I'm tired and incomprehensible but.. what? You can't really have your cake and eat it too in this situation. There's enough illegal downloading going on these days (I mean I do it too so whatever) but when it comes to the record companies they need a strategy that benefits both them and the consumer and I really think this streaming thing works out, because more than likely, I'm going to buy The Eternal.
I don't normally buy CDs anymore, but I mean, I think Sonic Youth is worth it, it's the least they deserve, and it's the least
I deserve too I suppose if only because it does feel like the sound quality could be admittedly better. So while I don't like this album much so far, I do enjoy it enough to warrant a purchase. And uh isn't that sort of the whole point of the stream, to pique the interest of the ones who listen to it? Jeez people ask for too much I think.
