This blog just keeps getting better and better. They seem to now fully embrace the wierd and fucked up, no matter what style. Even better, there's less of the Not Not Fun tropical drone an false-no wave stuff that for the most part doesn't move me (save for a few choice bands, sun araw, the mutators, night wounds, etc..). In the pst couple of weeks theyve put out great shit by lots of my current faves; Uneven Universe (excite bike records and its ownder dan dugolieski (spelling?) truly fucking rule), Andrew Coltrane (this alien tone gump guitar noise stuff really doesnt ever get old), Wasteland Jazz Unit (most fitting band name in freak music history), Hollow Bush (Rodger Stella's other band, sci-no-fi freakout hick noise, in my mind, every bit as awesome as Macronympha), Blood Stereo (Most on here know I'm down with the Nyoukis), Hetero Skeleton (spazzy no wave noise possibly made by guys in costumes? heard it here first And its actually far more interesting than I would have anticipated), Maths Balance Volume (choc. monk. associated freak folk, and if you are at all familiar with the type of folk Nyoukis puts out, you know its some of the only stuff that actually deserves the term "freak-folk"), Heathen Shame (eternally rulin skronk-rawk, I met the other dude (that isn't greg kelley) at Twisted Village in Cambridge last March, kinda embarassed to not know his name, he sold me some rrrcycled casettes though).

Theyve been heavy on the Noise recently, but only the interestin and varied aspects of Noise. In fact, the only time they post straight up harsh as fuck noise is when the band playing such style is incredible at it (Incapacitants, Macronympha, watevs). Not to mention they keep me up with all the amazing rock and punk on labels like S-S and Siltbeeze, and so soo much more. We are so lucky to have this blog. Mediafire files all the way, super easy, and tons of out of print amazing shit.
