I would love to be able to jam with other people though! I have been playing more lately and am feeling the need to go buy more gear instead of cd's or some shit. I am going this weekend for a new pedal. I'm thinking a Ratt, or a new BigMuff since the one I have is hammered. CHOUT or Savage Clone- you guys are rock stars- what is the cheapest, but most decent quality recording equipment I should look into? I just want a way to record what I play. Nothing too crazy, nothing too technical. Any help would be much appreciated.

Savage Clone is definitely the rockstar of us two - have you seen his pants?

Shoot, I'm older than you! Hope is not lost Kegmama!

If you're starting out with recording, I'd recommend a basic cassette 4 track. I started out with a Fostex X-12 I think it's called. As basic as it gets.

However, with the manufacturing of cassettes dwindling and digital at the forefront now, perhaps there's some easy cheap digital recorders out that someone could recommend.
