Not at all, although people can use that as an excuse to be selfish. If you're in a relationship that is over, it makes no sense to stay in it. If there's still hope for something meaningful, it's otherwise worthwhile, or you have children, then yes, you're going to give it a fair chance before you walk away. But if not, don't waste a second. I'm not advocating ditching anything that doesn't immediately satisfy you, as many good things take time and effort. I'm advocating only spending time and effort on the truly good things in your life. And removing the things in your life that keep you from having those good things.
