The zoo flew in four females in a bid to get the endangered birds to reproduce - but quickly abandoned the scheme after causing outrage among gay rights activists, who accused it of interfering in the animals' behaviour.

Anyone seeing what I'm seeing here?

They're implying that if these penguins were around females they'd act as heterosexuals. Now I've never been in a gay bar, but I'm pretty sure that if you flood it with beautiful women, the gay dudes wouldn't give a fuck and continue on as they were.

Implying that these penguins aren't really gay, they're just prison gay.

Instead, maybe they could have not protested, and when the gay penguins refused to mate with the female penguins- the gay activist movement could use it to say that homosexuality isn't a choice.

But then again they're Germans.
