I confess to using brackets with rather more regularity than convention dicates. The same probably applies to hyphens too. But I'm somehow resisting the urge to employ them in this post, so there is some hope.
Sometimes yay, sometimes nay.
The bad grammar bothers me a little when it's avoidable, but when it's a minor technicality or due to an imperfect ability in a second language it's not a problem.
