hmm....well....yeah... that sucks.
I've heard that a lot of charitable organizations are suffering right now. not only are donations down, but quite a few non-profit trusts saw their funds evaporate with Bernie Made-off.
maybe they really didn't have the budgetary means? have they said whether or not you can come back if things get better?
perhaps it's even for the best. maybe this will spur you into getting a job that will pay for grad school.
