the thurston is fairly similar to the normal jazzmaster but the lee one is different enough to be interesting
if you're rich buy one otherwise it's kind of nuts to pay a couple grand for a guitar customised to someone elses liking, better to get a mexi jazz for half the price and customise it yrself

does "not a bad deal" sound like fender in 2009 to you? the markup is guaranteed to be huge with fenders, kind of sucks since they release cool stuff like this
