You can increase the shutter speed of a camera by waving a spoon in front of the lens. Just wave it back and forth, don't have to be taking a photo or anything, if you do this for a while (100 times every day for about a week) you'll notice the shutter speed is shorter than it used to be. Doesn't work on SLR cameras.
