never heard of medford oregon-- what about portland?

phoenix-- another hellhole. super-hot temperatures, ulgy everything (see what's showing at modified arts though if it still exists). instead of FEnix go to monument valley instead, you eengleesh have no landscapes like that and it might just blow your mind. go to grand canyon too. flagstaff is a nice little college town.

do stop by new mexico on your way to tejas. some nice stuff i can recommend in albuquerque, santa fe, taos, everywhere. sorry i can't offer guidance or accomodations, i am a leper and i live in a cave.
