Haha, I really should have clarified that statement, and I was actually about to edit it before running off to a meeting.

I meant to imply that I couldn't participate in those types of conversations...but no, i'm pretty lucky that i have a pretty solid group of sexually deviant buddies.

i do often I feel really out of place when I'm amongst groups of "normies," especially since most people would never assume that i don't identify as a heterosexual. it can be kinda alienating/embarrassing to constantly have to correct people and then go on a silly lecture when they assume that im a lesbian...the vast majority of the time i just don't say anything.

heteronormativity can suck, but it has not bothered me too much. i know lots of other people who have been infinity more affected/hurt by it.

i think we all have experienced of feeling out of place when we are around people who think/live differently than we do.
